Nestled snugly within the mountains of Running Springs, California, The Lightning Lodge feels like the cabin you always dreamed about as a kid, but with the modern amenities you love as an adult. Taking inspiration from cattle branding irons, I designed the stamp and typography to feel as if it could’ve been bent from metal. The color palette featured a rich forest green that was used as an accent color for the lodge itself. I also developed the custom fragrance Santal which was used for complimentary guest-size bar soaps. The little things always sell it for me.
